Initial Bargaining Goals Ratified

After reviewing bargaining surveys filled out by nearly 80% of all eligible employees, the elected bargaining committee of WOAW-UAW drafted initial bargaining goals to shape our negotiations with the Wellesley College administration. On March 7, the Bargaining Committee presented the initial bargaining goals at a town hall. WOAW members were then given the chance to vote to ratify the goals, with the poll open from Thursday, March 7 through Monday, March 11.

We are excited to announce that WOAW faculty unanimously voted to certify our initial bargaining goals, with a majority of faculty participating! This result gives us a strong mandate to negotiate. You can read our initial bargaining goals here.
